Blackwater Marathon 2025, organized by the LDWA Essex & Herts Group, takes place on Saturday 25 October at Drapers Farm Sports Club, Heybridge, Essex. This 25th edition features two circular routes: 26.5 miles and 18 miles, run on cross‑country footpaths and seawall sections on the north side of the River Blackwater estuary. The course includes three checkpoints on the longer route and two on the shorter, with route descriptions and GPX files available beforehand. Entry includes refreshments at the start, snacks at checkpoints, a light finish meal, and a finishers’ certificate.
