Course format and measurement

The 10 km is an out-and-back route of about 3.1 miles with a well marshalled turnaround and a 2.5 hour time limit. The half marathon starts with an initial 0.6 mile anti-clockwise loop, then one 12.5 mile loop of the reservoir (6 hour time limit). The marathon includes an initial 1 mile loop followed by two 12.5 mile loops of the reservoir; organisers note the marathon is slightly longer than standard marathon distance and there is a 7 hour 9 minute limit quoted on event pages. The 50 km ultra uses two 12.5 mile loops followed by a final 6.25 mile loop (8 hour time limit). Distances were measured using a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro-Solar watch and the organisers note trail line can cause small variations in distance.
