Bewl Water Autumn

Bewl Water Autumn is part of a bi-annual race series that starts near the Bewl Water Visitor Centre in Lamberhurst, Kent. The routes follow the reservoir around Bewl and run on a combination of undulating rural wooded trail and some quiet country lanes, with lake views for much of the course.

  • 10 km out and back, turnaround well marshalled
  • Half marathon 13.1 miles 0.6 mile loop then one 12.5 mile loop
  • Marathon 26.5 miles 1 mile loop then two 12.5 mile loops
  • Ultra 50 km / 31.25 miles two 12.5 mile loops then a 6.25 mile final loop

Each distance has a published time limit for completion. Distances were measured using a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro-Solar watch and are noted as as accurate as trail races can be; the marathon may be slightly longer because trail lines vary. The event page includes course maps, GPX routes and a route video, and a medal is produced for the Bewl Water events. Runners World has rated the event among the top 10 races in the UK.
