The Bewl Water Autumn is a bi-annual trail running event near the Bewl Water Visitor Centre in Lamberhurst, Kent. The route follows trails around the reservoir, offering views of the lake for most of the course. The terrain is described as a combination of undulating rural wooded trails and some quiet country lanes.

Four distances are offered:

  • 10 km: An out-and-back route with a turnaround point.
  • Half Marathon: An initial anti-clockwise loop followed by a 12.5-mile loop of the reservoir.
  • Marathon: A clockwise route starting with a 1-mile loop, followed by two 12.5-mile reservoir loops.
  • Ultra 50 km: A clockwise route consisting of two 12.5-mile reservoir loops and a final 6.25-mile loop.

The organiser notes that distances were measured with a GPS watch and that trail distances can vary slightly depending on the line run. Runners World magazine has rated the marathon course as one of the top 10 in the UK.

Entry prices range from £33-£35 for the 10 km to £60-£62 for the Ultra 50 km. Age restrictions apply: 15+ for the 10 km, 17+ for the Half Marathon, 18+ for the Marathon, and 20+ for the Ultra.
