Belarusian Carolinas Trails Friends Run

Charlotte, United States • 15 Nov 2025

Event overview

The 2nd Belarusian Carolinas Trails Friends Run takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Charlotte, NC at Park Road Park (6220 Park Road, 28210). The event offers two race options:

  • 5K (red track)
  • 1M (white track)

Each event has an entry fee of $20. This is the second annual edition and proceeds support a Nobel Peace Prize laureate who works on human rights and freedom.

Course and logistics

Both routes start and finish near the last softball fields at Park Road Park and run along the Sugar Creek Greenway. The course begins down a fast chute, the 5K crosses the creek four times on wide bridges, and the paths are mostly flat with a gentle uphill finish back up the chute. The route is traffic-free.

On-site facilities include parking, registration, and restrooms. The race will be cupless to reduce waste; water, coffee, and snacks will be provided at the start/finish area and participants are encouraged to bring their own bottle if they want water along the course. Merchandise such as t-shirts and bags will be available, and awards will be given to the top three finishers in each race. Volunteers are requested to help with event operations.
