Beinn Dubh takes place on Wednesday 22 April 2026 in Luss, Alexandria G83 8NZ (what3words: treatable.enjoy.monks). The route is an out and back to Beinn Dubh covering 6.5 km with 620 m of ascent. A course map is provided for download.

Entry details note an entry fee of £6 plus booking fee and that the 2026 event will be chip timed. There are currently no planned limits on entries, though this will be monitored, and there may be limited entries available on the day. Registration is handled in the event field. Competitors must be at least 18 years old on the day of the race.

Mandatory kit checks are carried out at registration before numbers are issued. Required items include full waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, whistle, a mechanical compass (electronic devices are not permitted), a map and the ability to navigate in poor weather. All runners must abide by the Scottish Hill Runners mandatory safety rules.

Parking is available in the pay and display car park in Luss. Public transport options include Balloch train station 8.7 miles south and Arrochar train station 8.6 miles north of Luss, and bus 305 from Balloch. Trail runs nearby

A guided 8 km night trail run from Milngavie Train Station exploring the Clyde Coastal path and West Highland Way. Social pace with a qualified guide, mandatory trail shoes and headtorch, and no dogs or under 18s.

Uphill only hill race on Ben Ledi serving as the Scottish Athletics Senior and U20 championships. The course climbs 760 m over 5.3 km to the summit, with membership required for championship medal eligibility.

A marked 6 km hill race on 11 April 2026 with 730 m of ascent around Ardgartan Hotel. The route has mandatory checkpoints and mountain rescue marshals, and full waterproof body cover must be carried.

A hill race on 15 April 2026 covering 5.7 km with 380 m of ascent across Fairlie Glen and the summit plateau. Entries are limited to 150, and prizegiving with a hot drink and cake is held at Fairlie Parish Church.
