Entry details note an entry fee of £6 plus booking fee and that the 2026 event will be chip timed. There are currently no planned limits on entries, though this will be monitored, and there may be limited entries available on the day. Registration is handled in the event field. Competitors must be at least 18 years old on the day of the race.
Mandatory kit checks are carried out at registration before numbers are issued. Required items include full waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, whistle, a mechanical compass (electronic devices are not permitted), a map and the ability to navigate in poor weather. All runners must abide by the Scottish Hill Runners mandatory safety rules.
Parking is available in the pay and display car park in Luss. Public transport options include Balloch train station 8.7 miles south and Arrochar train station 8.6 miles north of Luss, and bus 305 from Balloch.
