EpicTrails 10 km - Canal and trails

This guided trail run of 10 km takes place on 30 April 2026 around Bishopbriggs, Torrance and Kirkintilloch. The route starts on the Forth and Clyde Canal at the small car park opposite Unleash the Dogs on Torrance Road, skirts Cawder golf course, follows the banks of the River Kelvin to Torrance, passes through countryside to Hayston Golf Club, then returns via a short pavement section to the canal and back to the start. A parking area is listed at Forth and Clyde Canal, Torrance Road, Bishopbriggs G64 3QA.

The run is led by a guide who is qualified, experienced, insured and first aid trained. These sessions are organised as social runs rather than races; participants will regroup at points along the route, no one is left behind and group size is kept manageable for safety. Total places are limited to 14 and the event status is open.

Dogs and under 18s are not permitted due to insurance restrictions. Mandatory kit varies by route and season and will be detailed in the run brief; trail shoes are always required and no kit means no run. The runs operate not for profit with funds used to cover costs and any remainder donated to a local charity. Refunds are given only if requested and none are issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
