Event Information

Beat the Bugs is a scenic 5 km or 10 km trail race held at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Centre, located at 8141 Otway Road. The event uses both cross-country ski and single track trails throughout the Otway trail system.

The 5 km route is described as relatively flat and a good introductory trail race for first-timers. The 10 km route is rated intermediate to advanced. The running surface is gravel and dirt. The race starts in the stadium area of the Nordic Centre.

The race name says it all – it is held in June and there will be bugs.
