Course and distances

All courses use Crowders Ridge trails and combine Tower, Rocktop, Crowders, Pinnacle, Turnback, Fern, Ridgeline and other named trails. The 100 Miler follows a repeated loop pattern and totals about 101 miles. The 100K follows a similar loop pattern and totals about 67.35 miles. The 50 Miler route is repeated and totals about 53.79 miles. Elevation gain by distance is listed as: Half Marathon 2,326 ft; Marathon 4,766 ft; 50 Miler 9,538 ft; 100K 11,862 ft; 100 Miler 17,925 ft.

Aid stations and rules

There are four on-course aid stations: Crowders Ridge, Wolf Base, The 161 Aid Station, and Boulders Access. Aid station food includes pickles wrapped in bacon, cereal, gummies, salted pretzels, candy, fruit, and some hot options such as bacon and soup. Drink options include Tailwind, water and several sodas. Trekking poles are allowed. Pacers are permitted for the 100K and 100 Miler after 50 miles.
