The Broad River Trail Run takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Broad River Greenway in Shelby, North Carolina. The event is organized by Broad River Greenway and is based at the Ranger Station, 126 Broad River Road, Shelby, NC 28152. Race entries are offered in two distances:
- 10 miles
- 5K
Course, packet pick-up and logistics
Both races begin at the Ranger Station and follow the River Trail past the playground. The 10-mile course follows a loop that uses Wild Turkey Trail, Flint Hill, College Farm, Running Cedar, Sandy Run Trail, Chestnut Oak, Nicholsonville and the River Trail, with creek crossings and gravel-road sections included. The 5K is an out-and-back along the River Trail.
Packet pick-up is available on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Ranger Station, or on the day of the event at the same location.
