Bear Mountain Trail Running Race

Hosted by Heads or Trails, the Bear Mountain Trail Running Race takes place in Bear Mountain Park, located in Mission, British Columbia. The event features a variety of trail running distances on a course characterized by steady climbs and flowy downhill sections.

Participants can choose from several competitive distances:

  • 30 km: a route involving 1,540 meters of elevation gain and loss.
  • 15 km: a course with 770 meters of elevation gain and loss.
  • 8 km: a shorter loop with 330 meters of elevation gain and loss.

A dedicated student category is available for the 8 km distance, requiring a valid student card on race day. Additionally, there is a kids' race consisting of a 500m out-and-back course from the starting line. For participants under 19 entering the 8 km event, a specific waiver must be completed.
