Course, support and awards

All race distances start and finish at San Leandro Marina Park. The courses run along a mostly-flat bayside trail that rarely strays more than a few feet from the water. The half marathon has a course time limit of 4.5 hours. A Hiker Division is available for half marathon participants who expect to take more than the time limit; hikers should carry water because the first aid stations might not be fully operational. Hikers are listed as official finishers in the Hiker Division and are not eligible for race or age-group awards.

Water stations will be stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, and candy. Approximate water station locations:
