San Leandro, United States • 14 Feb 2026

Event details

The Bay Breeze event takes place on February 14, 2026, at San Leandro Marina Park (14001 Monarch Bay Dr, San Leandro, CA 94577). Distances offered include:

  • Half marathon
  • 10K
  • 5K

All races are professionally timed with bib-tag timing. All participants receive custom finisher medals and custom shirts, with cotton and tech shirt options available. Age group awards will be given to the top three finishers in five-year age categories, with fewer categories for younger ages.

Course and logistics

Courses run along the San Francisco Bay and remain close to the water for much of the route. The half marathon has a 4.5 hour course time limit; runners must reach the fourth aid station (mile 10) by the course cutoff. A Hiker Division is offered for half marathon participants who expect to take longer than the time limit; hikers will be listed as official finishers in that division but are not eligible for overall or age group awards.

Water stations are described as fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, and candy. Approximate water station locations by distance are provided:

  • 5K: Mile 1.25
  • 10K: Miles 1.5, 2.9, 3.25, 4.68
  • Half marathon: Miles 1.5, 2.9, 6.5, 10.2, 11.6

Participants needing more frequent access to fluids are encouraged to carry a water bottle or hydration pack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
