ATW Grafham Water Canicross

The ATW Grafham Water Canicross takes place on 6 December 2026 at Grafham Water Visitor Centre, PE28 0BH in Cambridgeshire. The event follows a single 10 mile loop around the reservoir on a smooth, fast path with no laps.

The course starts atop Grafham Dam and continues around woodland trails, a Nature Reserve, past Dragonfly Pond and Sanctuary Bay, before returning along the dam wall. The route is described as largely continuous around the reservoir and is designed for canicross teams.

Event rules and on-course services include recognised canicross harnesses required, dogs on leads at all times, water bowls at aid stations and dog treats at the finish. Every finisher receives a medal and a special dog charm. The event also provides finish-line goodies, free event photos and marshals stationed throughout the course.

Additional arrangements and policies noted by the organiser include nearby camping available at Lakeview Paddock, car parking at the venue with a fee payable at ticket machines, and an entry price of £36. The event lists Alzheimer’s Research UK as a charity partner with opportunities to donate or fundraise at checkout. ATW states it does not offer refunds or transfers to another person but permits transfers of entries to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the event.
