Summer Series 2025-26
The Adelaide Trail Runners Summer Series runs across five events from November 2025 to March 2026. The scheduled race dates and locations are: 23 November 2025 at Black Hill (Athelstone), 14 December 2025 at Bridgewater, 11 January 2026 at Belair National Park, 22 February 2026 at Cleland National Park, and 15 March 2026 at Port Elliot (Surf Run). The opening event will mark the club's fifth anniversary. A new event, Surf Run, is the final race of the series.
Course options offered during the series include:
- Long Course: 18-22 km
- Medium Course: 13-15 km
- Short Course: 8-10 km
- 5 km option
Minimum ages are set by course: Long Course 15 years, Medium Course 12 years, Short Course 10 years (younger runners may be considered with prior permission).
Series format and entries
To qualify for series awards a competitor must start at least four of the five races. Only the best four scores count toward final standings. Age groups move to 10-year increments (20-29, 30-39, etc.). Overall distance winners take priority over age group wins. Series medals will be presented at the final race, with end-of-season presentations usually held in May.
Points for finishing positions are:
- Races 1-4: 1st 25, 2nd 16, 3rd 12, 4th 9, 5th 7.
- Race 5 (Surf Run): 1st 38, 2nd 24, 3rd 18, 4th 14, 5th 11.
Entries include single-race and discounted five-race series options. Bib pick-up is available on race morning from 6:30 am. Cut-off times: Long 3.5 hours, Medium 3 hours, Short 2.5 hours, 5 km 2 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
