Series format, points and entries

To qualify for series awards a competitor must start at least four of the five races. Only the best four scores count toward final series totals. Age group categories move to 10-year increments (20-29, 30-39, etc.). Runners score points for finishing in the top five overall of a distance and the top five of their age group. Points for Races 1-4 are 25, 16, 12, 9, 7 for places 1-5; Race 5 awards 50% bonus points (38, 24, 18, 14, 11). Entries open midday Friday 26 September; a five-race series entry attracts a 15% discount compared with individual race entries. Winners receive medals at end-of-season presentations.
