AROS 2x2 Relays - Craigmillar

Edinburgh, United Kingdom • 15 Nov 2025

Event details

The event is part of the AROS weekend and takes place on Saturday 15th November. Assembly is at Craigmillar Castle Park; the exact meeting location, Google Maps link, public transport details and what3words location are to be confirmed. Parking is DIY. Entries close on 13th November.

Teams are made of two people. Ideally teams have one male and one female, but there are no designated male or female legs. Person A runs legs 1 and 3 and person B runs legs 2 and 4. Organisers will pair entrants to make teams even. The organisers state they hope to put any profits from this event towards relay team entries for next year.

Courses and entry

The terrain mixes forest and parkland. Distances and climb for the courses are:

  • 2.5 km - 50 m climb (relay leg)
  • 2.5 km - 50 m climb (individual option)

Each relay team member runs two of the courses; those two courses will be significantly different. Individuals may run one or two of the ~2.5 km courses. Entry fees are Senior £9 and Junior/Student £7. Juniors are under 21 on 31 December; students pay the junior fee if they tick the student box. SI dibbers are available to hire free of charge; a lost dibber incurs a £50 charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
