Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in standard age categories for race day participants only. The half marathon has a 4-hour time limit.
Support and facilities: water and Gatorade stations are placed at multiple mile markers on each course; GU gels are provided for half marathon runners at specific miles. Restrooms are available at Sonoran Mountain Ranch Park on the half marathon route. Race-day and a pre-race packet pickup are offered; pre-race pickup is on the Friday before the event at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix. The virtual option ships event items after the event and is limited to US addresses. Restrictions note no roller blades, skateboards, or motorized devices on the trails; leashed pets are allowed and use of wheelchairs or strollers is not recommended.
