The Desert Solstice Track Invitational is a timed ultrarunning meeting held December 19-20, 2026, at the Camelback High School 400 meter all-weather track in Phoenix, Arizona. The event focuses on fixed-time and fixed-distance competitions, primarily the 24 Hour and 100 Mile formats.

  • 100 Mile

The meet is by invitation or qualification only. Entry for the 24 Hour/100 Mile is limited to 25 runners. Qualifying standards use recent performances (no older than December 2022) and an A/B standard process determines acceptance. The published entry fee for timed events is $325, with additional taxes and processing fees.

Course operations use electronic chip timing with two timing points per lap and live split tracking during the race. Direction of travel on the track changes periodically during the event. A fully stocked aid station is available, and runners are assigned a paired 10x10 canopy with two tables and chairs for personal crew and gear. A designated area for crew access is provided inside the track fence.

Rule notes include specific equipment and conduct requirements: shoes must meet World Athletics guidelines, pacers are not permitted, and headphones have restrictions for record attempts. For timed events there is no DNF; results show the furthest distance reached. Awards and prize money are tied to performance standards, and top finishers receive category awards and finisher keepsakes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
