Haldon Forest Park hosts a local orienteering event in Devon on Sunday 7 September. The event offers courses for all abilities: Short 2.5 km (45-minute limit), Medium 4.4 km (60 minutes), and Long 6.6 km (75 minutes), plus a 60-minute Score course for newcomers. On every course there are optional bonus controls worth extra points, with locations shown on map samples attached to some controls; visitors must use map memory to locate them.
