The Salt Settlers Six Hour Race is a timed endurance event held in the Lower Otter Valley near Budleigh Salterton. Participants aim to complete as many 4.4km loops as possible within six hours on a mostly flat course with a slight 12m ascent per loop. Completing five loops equals a half marathon, while ten loops make a full marathon. The event features an aid station after each loop, and participants receive a special memento.
