Salt Settlers Six Hour Race

Salt Settlers Six Hour Race is a timed six hour event held around the Lower Otter valley on a 4.4 km looped course. Participants complete as many loops as possible within the six hour limit.

The loop is described as flat with about 12 m ascent per loop. The event is open to runners and walkers and offers both solo and pairs relay entry options. An aid station is available after every loop. All participants receive a special memento.

Facilities at the event base, Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club, include a cafe, a bar and hot showers. Entries are managed through SiEntries; entry requires logging in or registering with that system. Entries open on 2 December 2025 and close on 30 September 2026. Entry fees listed are £65 for solo and £85 for pairs. The event provides information on cancellation and refund policies and offers an optional XCover purchase to help with refunds for unforeseen circumstances.

A chip timed trail run along the South West Coast Path from Exmouth to Seaton offering a 22 miles solo race, multiway relay options and a Sidmouth to Seaton half. Transport, baggage service and checkpoint support are provided.

A guided countryside run from Bovey Tracey to Lustleigh and back, about 10.5 miles with roughly 2000 ft of ascent. The route follows paths and lanes via Shaptor Down and Gladstone Rock; trail shoes and a waterproof are recommended.

Experience the rugged beauty of the South West Coast Path in South Devon with three distance options. Runners follow a hilly multi-terrain course from Kingswear or Babbacombe to a scenic finish at Shaldon.

A multi terrain seven mile race at Kilmington Cricket Ground on 25 April 2026, with a 4 km option and a 1 km fun run for children. The undulating route passes roads, woodland and fields and offers on-site refreshments and a water station.
