Salt Settlers Six Hour Race

The Salt Settlers Six Hour Race is a timed event held in the Lower Otter valley. Participants aim to complete as many laps as possible within a six hour time limit. The course consists of a 4.4 km loop that is primarily flat, featuring 12 m of ascent per lap.

The event offers several distance milestones based on the number of completed loops:

  • 5 loops for a half marathon
  • 10 loops for a marathon

The race is open to both runners and walkers. Participants can choose to enter as a solo runner or as part of a pairs relay team. An aid station is located at the end of every loop to provide support throughout the duration of the event.
