Taking place near Tavistock, the Tavy 7 is a seven-mile running event organized by Tavistock Athletic Club. The route follows scenic, gently undulating Dartmoor lanes beginning at Plaster Down and looping past Pew Tor and the hamlet of Sampford Spiney. The course includes mile markers and two water stations, with a celebratory tea and cake stall at the start/finish. All finishers receive a medal, and runners can order an optional technical T-shirt (£13, plus p&p after Oct 3).
