American River Endurance Runs

The American River Endurance Runs take place on April 4, 2026, and use trails and parkway paths between Folsom and Auburn. The event offers multiple distances that follow sections of the American River Parkway and trail networks in the area. The 50 mile race has been held for decades and runs from Folsom Point Boat Ramp to Auburn Overlook.

Course support includes staffed aid stations, on-course nutrition and hydration, timing and results services, and volunteer assistance along the route. The event lists on-course Neversecond gels and Skratch hydration, professional timing, and post race food and beverage service with a beer garden for those 21 and over. Participants receive a NorCalUltras goody bag, a technical race shirt when available, and a handcrafted finisher medallion for finishers.

Registration is open through the event platform and fees vary by distance and registration period. Entry fees are non refundable and entries are non transferable under the stated cancellation policy; an optional enhanced refund protection program is available for an additional fee. Packet pickup and race day bib pickup are scheduled in Folsom and at race start locations. The event notes post race festivities and a finish area at Auburn Overlook.
