Alfriston 7.5km Trail Race
The event is a 7.5 km trail loop around Alfriston taking in some well known local landmarks and offering extensive off road running. More than 80 percent of the route is on trail surfaces. The course is fully marked and marshalled.
Prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers. Facilities including toilets, changing and parking are provided at The Old Chapel Centre in Alfriston. Tea and cake are served in the hall after the race.
Entry is limited to 50 participants to reduce pressure on village parking. A course map is available on request. Because this is a trail race the stated distance is approximate and runners may encounter livestock on the course. Running with dogs is prohibited. Minimum age for entry is 15 years.
Entry fees are listed at £15 with an increase to £18 from 21 June 2026. The event is organised by 1066 Trail Races and is scheduled for 28 June 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
