The event offers two courses that start and finish at Rossiter Park and use a mix of river paths, top banks, dirt tracks and park paths. The long course is 8 km and follows the river path, top bank sections, a bush garden area, the Nathan Street bridge, paths through the Palmetum near the Good Shepherd car park, Cranbrook Park and local streets before returning to Rossiter Park. The short course is about 3.9 km and follows the initial river and bush garden loop back to Rossiter Park.
