Trail Running calendar near Nelly Bay 2026-2027

A night trail run at Mount Louisa with 6km, 10km and 21km options. Courses mix steps, gravel and single track; a charged head torch is mandatory and extra safety gear is required for longer distances.

Four trail distances from 5 km to 42 km at Cape Pallarenda, featuring Mt Marlow, technical single track and coastal views. Race HQ is at Freemason’s Park with marked courses, aid stations, timing and support services.

Fourth and final run in the 10 km series at Walter Nesbit Park in Pallarenda. Trail and road routes include 5 km and 10 km options, with members free and non members paying $6.

Riverway Insomnia is a backyard ultra at Riverway Precinct, Townsville. Runners choose distance in the 100 km 24 hour or 42 km 10 hour formats, solo or in teams of 2 to 4.

Experience a 52 km ultramarathon through the ancient World Heritage rainforests and historical mining trails of Paluma Range National Park. This technical trail race offers a diverse course with minimal bitumen and stunning waterfall views.

The Castle Hill Trail Run will take place in Belgian Gardens on Sunday 28 February 2027. You can run between 5 and 12 kilometers.

Trail races at Alligator Creek in Bowling Green Bay National Park feature creek crossings, undulating trails and a prominent hill. Distances include 6 km, 12 km and 21 km on marked and marshalled courses with timing and on-course support.

A trail race on Magnetic Island on 22 May 2027 featuring technical single track and coastal views. Choose from 7 km, 12 km or 21 km courses that finish at the Arcadia Village Hotel with marshals, aid stations and timing.
