Outer Limits After Dark at Mount Louisa

Outer Limits After Dark at Mount Louisa is a night trail running event with routes on the Mount Louisa walking trails. Event headquarters, start and finish are located near the Sports Centre at Calvary Christian College, 569 Bayswater Road, Mount Louisa. The terrain includes paved steps, wide gravel paths and single track with steep climbs, descents and loose, rocky or rutted sections. Courses are waymarked and marshalled, with on course first aid support and professional timing.

Mandatory gear requirements apply for all distances: a charged head torch is required. Additional mandatory items for the longer distances include compression bandages, a fully charged waterproof phone, a whistle, a space blanket and sufficient water and nutrition. Runners are advised to download the course GPX file to a watch or phone. A cut off time applies to the 21 km course; runners who miss the cutoff may be directed to the finish and may be recorded at a shorter distance.

Entry includes a marked and marshalled course, first aid support, on course photography, electronic timing with a chip bib, on course hydration and snacks (no cups provided), and post race refreshments. Minimum ages apply: short distance minimum 8 years, 10 km minimum 12 years. There is a bag drop area at Event HQ and at the 21 km turnaround.
