The Two Bays Trail Run : Magnetic Island

The Two Bays Trail Run is a trail race on Magnetic Island that starts from the Magnetic Island State School sports oval in Nelly Bay and finishes at the Arcadia Village Hotel pub in Arcadia. The event offers three waymarked distances on technical single-track that climbs out of Nelly Bay and traverses the island terrain with coastal views.

Course highlights include rocky single-track, sections with steps, beach running on the long course, and scenic out-and-back sections to Sphinx Lookout and Radical Bay. Wildlife may be encountered along the trails, including koalas in some residential areas. Each junction is signed and significant turns have course marshals.
