Trail Half Marathon Wales

Trail Half Marathon Wales is held at Margam Park East gate in South Wales. The event includes two distances: a trail half marathon and a trail 10k. The routes run through woodland trails, open parkland and rolling hills, passing through the deer park and beneath the historic Margam country house, with views towards the South Wales coastline and the Gower.

The course terrain is forest paths and woodlands trails. Routes are fully marked with running arrows and flags. The half marathon has three checkpoints and the 10k has two checkpoints. Runners are asked to bring a reusable bottle or plastic cup for water at checkpoints.

Organiser provisions included with entry are car parking at the event centre, a finishers medal, free race photographs to download, event safety and first aid cover, electronic timing, marked routes with land permits and a GPS file of the route. Entry fees listed are £38 for the half marathon and £34 for the 10k. An optional event T-shirt is available for £20. Required kit to carry includes a bottle or cup, a phone with the race HQ number, suitable headwear and a waterproof top if conditions require one.
