ADM Recovery Challenge 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Walk
The ADM Recovery Challenge takes place June 6, 2026 at IBH Addiction Recovery, 3445 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44319. The event includes community resource tables and activities for all ages and is designed to celebrate community connections, wellness, and fun.
Distances offered:
- 5K Obstacle Course
- 1 Mile Family Fun Walk
The 5K Obstacle Course uses winding trails, hills, and other obstacles and is described as reflecting challenges encountered during recovery. The 5K awards the top three finishers in each age group and gives a medal to all participants. Age groups for awards are 10 & Under, 11-18, 19-30, 31-45, 46-55, and 56+.
The 1 Mile Family Fun Walk provides a custom shirt to each paid participant. Children under 5 years old are charged five dollars. Registration for the races opens January 15, 2026 and closes April 30, 2026; the reported registration fees are twenty five dollars for the 5K and fifteen dollars for the 1 Mile.
Volunteer registration opens January 15, 2026 and closes June 5, 2026. Volunteers are listed as receiving an event t-shirt and no registration fee is required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
