Eagle up Ultra
Canal Fulton, United States • 6 Jun 2026
Event
The Eagle Up Ultra is a timed 24-hour running event held at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton, Ohio on June 6, 2026. The event includes individual and team options and donates a portion of each registration to Team RWB, the event charity. Relay teams aim to reach 100 miles in 24 hours and may continue to run for distance after that goal. Finishers receive medals or buckles immediately upon completing their chosen distance; there are no age-group awards. Runners (except 25K entrants) may change their completed distance and will be recorded as finishers for the distance they complete.
Course and logistics
The course is a 5-mile loop starting and finishing at St. Helena Park. The loop runs south on the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath to Butterbridge Road, returns on the Olde Muskingum Trail, and passes through the park camping area. Most surfaces are packed crushed limestone; the camping area is short cut grass. Key logistics:
- 24-hour solo event
- 25K distance (new in 2025; 25K registrants cannot bump up)
- Relay teams with timing band exchanges at start/finish or elsewhere in the park
There is one main aid station at the park pavilion; water is available on course near mile 1, mile 2.5 and mile 4. The race is cupless, so runners must carry a reusable cup; cups will be provided for coffee and warm soup. Pacers may join after a runner completes two loops, one pacer at a time, and may use aid station food and drink. The entire park is available for free camping; RV space is limited. Each runner receives one complimentary beer from the event brewery; additional beer is for sale. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
