Eagle Up Ultra - Canal Fulton, OH
Eagle Up Ultra is a 24 hour ultramarathon held at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton, Ohio. The course is a five mile loop that follows the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath and the Olde Muskingum Trail, with packed crushed limestone surfaces and a short section of mown grass through the camping area. Road shoes are acceptable for the course.
Distances and formats include:
- 24 hour individual
- 25K new in 2025; registered 25K runners cannot change distance
- Relay teams target 100 miles; one runner on course at a time
The main aid station is at the park pavilion and offers a range of food, hot items later in the day, and drinks. Water is available along the loop at approximately mile 1, mile 2.5 and mile 4. Only runners and their pacers are allowed in the aid station area. Pacers may join after a runner completes a second loop, only one pacer at a time, and pacers may use aid station food and drink without separate registration.
Camping across St. Helena Park is available without charge and RV spots are limited. The event is cupless so runners must carry a reusable cup; cups are provided for coffee and warm soup. Each runner receives one complimentary beer from Lockport Brewery; additional beer is available for purchase. Finishing medals and buckles are presented immediately upon completing the chosen distance. No age group awards are given; the event offers special recognition for military veterans.
Packet pickup is available the day before and on race morning. Registration closes June 4. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
