ACORN Toota-Linn

ACORN Toota-Linn is scheduled for 12 June 2026 in Linn Park on Glasgow's south side. The event uses a two-lap course that is marginally under 8 km in total and highlights park features such as the waterfall that gives the park its name and the Halfpenny Bridge, also called the White Bridge, built in 1811.

Registration is arranged in the park near the Seil Drive entrance. The race is organised by Acorn Trails and has returned in its current format after earlier changes to local race arrangements and path closures within the park.

Finish results are recorded manually, so race numbers need to be visible on the front of the runner. Water and snacks are provided at the finish. Nearby, the Old Smiddy on Old Castle Road will offer participants a complimentary bottled beer in exchange for a race number, with alcohol free and soft drink options also available; food will be served there.

The event supports the Friends of Linn Park, a volunteer group that helps with path improvements, wildlife trails, and other park projects. Volunteers from this group will act as marshals on the day. Entries are limited to 75 and an entry price of £14 applies for registrations made before 9 June 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
