ACORN Toota-Linn

ACORN Toota-Linn takes place on 12 June 2026 in Linn Park on Glasgow's south side. The event is an evening race with registration located in the park near the Seil Drive entrance. Final registration and route details will be sent in the week before the event.

The course is two laps and is marginally under 8 km in total. The route passes notable park features including the waterfall that gives Linn Park its name and the Halfpenny Bridge, also called The White Bridge, which was built in 1811 and is described as the oldest single span cast iron bridge in Glasgow. In June the course is expected to have relatively little mud subject to weather conditions.

The finish is manually timed, so race bibs should be pinned on the front for visibility. Water and snacks will be available at the finish. Nearby, the Old Smiddy on Old Castle Road will offer participants a free bottle of beer or alcohol free and soft drink options in exchange for a race number, and will also serve food. The pub is a short walk downhill from the finish.

The event is organised by Acorn Trails with volunteer support from the Friends of Linn Park. That volunteer group provides marshals on the day and supports park work such as path improvements and wildlife initiatives. Entries are strictly limited to 75. Entry price until 09 June 2026 is £14 plus a service fee of 4 percent with a minimum of 50 p. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
