Course, aid, and logistics
All events start and finish at the Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Park (1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway). The main loop is 5 miles and a shorter loop of 1 mile is used later in the day. The Little Loopet for children is about 0.5 mile and may be repeated. A full ultramarathon aid station will operate between loops and will feature Dakota foods; a Trailhead station will provide an electrolyte beverage, and a self-serve water-only station is located at mile 3 of the 5-mile loop. Pacers are allowed with limits and each runner may have a single pacer at a time. Relay exchanges are permitted only between loops. Parking is available at Mortenson Parking Lot (700 Meadow Ln N) and additional bike racks will be provided at the Trailhead; the local bus route also serves the Trailhead. Awards include a pumpkin decorated by Little Loopet participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
