Event Details

The 9/11 Never Forget Trail Run/Walk 5k is a trail running and walking event held in Fillmore County Park, Brighton. It is the fourth annual event, presented by Livingston County Veteran Services and Howell Recreation. The event serves to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as military veterans and first responders.

Course Information

The event covers a 5k distance on a trail that is not paved and is not stroller-friendly.

Participant Information

All participants receive a finisher medal. Participants who register on or before August 14th will also receive a t-shirt. Only service dogs are permitted to accompany participants.

Logistics

Packet pickup is available in advance at the Oceola Community Center in Howell on September 9-10 or September 11. Packets will also be available on-site on race day starting at 8:00 AM. Results are provided via chip timing by the Michigan Running Foundation, with live results available online and via text message.
