8 Hours of Christmas
The 8 Hours of Christmas is scheduled for December 19, 2026 in Molena, GA at 506 Thundering Springs Rd. It is listed as a 50K Vertical Elimination Race with an eight hour format.
Each participant has one hour to complete a four mile loop that includes about 1000 feet of elevation gain. Runners who do not return to the start area within the one hour period are eliminated. This elimination process repeats for up to eight hours. On the final four mile loop the fastest lap determines the race winner.
Prizes are awarded after each successful loop. After the first completed loop each runner receives a Christmas ornament, and after the second loop each runner receives a water bottle. Awards for each loop increase in value through hour eight.
All entrants become Revolution Running members for 2027. Registered runners receive a pair of Revolution Running sweat pants at packet pickup and a 20 percent discount on all Revolution Running races in 2027. A discount code is sent with the registration confirmation email.
