The start and finish are at the Devon Lions Campground. A pavilion with a warm fire is listed for the event and washroom facilities are available at the start/finish area. There is no on-site parking; parking is provided at John Maland High School with shuttle service to the start/finish.
Distances offered:
- Kid's Race 1 km
- Kid's Race 3 km
- Sport Run or Hike 8 km
- Enduro Run or Hike 16 km

The course begins with a hill climb to the top of the ridge, descends through single track to a bluff overlooking the campground, and finishes with 2 kilometres of hard packed trail along the river that shows autumn colours. The Sport route completes the loop once, the Enduro twice, and the Grit three times. The 3 km kids race climbs the River Valley Alliance Trail and then descends to the finish.

For safety, dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles are not permitted on course.
Finishers in Sport, Enduro, and Grit receive a finisher swag item. Sustainably sourced wooden medals made in Canada can be purchased. Awards are given to top finishers by gender and age category and must be picked up at the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
