5 Peaks Devon
This race is the finale of the 5 Peaks Northern Alberta Trail Running Series. It takes place in the Town of Devon’s river valley, about 30 minutes south of Edmonton, on a mix of single track and hard packed trails. The start and finish are at the Devon Lions Campground where a warm fire is maintained under the pavilion.

The course begins with a climb to the top of a ridge, then descends through single track to a bluff overlooking the campground. The finish includes roughly 2 kilometres of hard packed trail along the river with autumn colours. The Sport loop is completed once, the Enduro loop twice, and the Grit loop three times. Distances and routes may change based on trail conditions.
Logistics and rules: there is no on-site parking and continuous shuttle service runs between a designated parking area and the start finish. Toilet facilities are available at the start and finish. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drink are provided at start finish and at one or more aid stations. Participants expected to be out longer than an hour should carry a receptacle for fluids and nutrition. Dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles are not allowed on the race course. Finishers of Sport Enduro and Grit receive a finisher item and sustainably sourced wooden medals made in Canada are available for purchase.
