5 Peaks - Devon (Devon, AB)
The Devon race is the finale of the 5 Peaks Northern Alberta Trail Running Series. The event is based at the Devon Lions Campground in the Town of Devon, about 30 minutes south of Edmonton, and uses river valley trails with both single track and hard-packed sections. Autumn river valley colours are visible from parts of the course.

- Kid's Race : 1 km
- Kid's Race : 3 km
- Sport Run or Hike : 8 km
- Enduro Run or Hike : 16 km
- Grit Run : 24 km
The course includes a climb to the top of a ridge, a descent through single track to a bluff overlooking the campground, and finishes with approximately 2 kilometres of hard-packed trail along the river. The Sport route completes the loop once, the Enduro twice, and the Grit three times. The 3 km kids race climbs to the River Valley Alliance Trail and then descends into the finish.
Logistics and safety notes: there is no on-site parking; parking is located at John Maland High School with continuous shuttle loops to the start/finish area. Washroom facilities are available at the start/finish. The event is cup-free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start/finish and at one or more aid stations on course. Participants planning to be out longer than an hour should carry a receptacle for fluids and nutrition. Dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles are not permitted on the course.
Awards and medals: all finishers of Sport, Enduro, and Grit receive a finisher swag item; finisher medals can be purchased. Awards are given to the top three in each gender and age category per distance, and to the top three overall. Awards must be picked up at the event.
