5 Peaks - Devon
5 Peaks Devon : Northern Alberta series finale
The Devon race is the final event of the 5 Peaks Northern Alberta Trail Running Series. It takes place in the Town of Devon, about 30 minutes south of Edmonton, on river valley trails that include single track and hard-packed sections. The start and finish are at the Devon Lions Campground, which includes a pavilion and a place for a post-race camp fire.

- 1 km Kid's Race
- 3 km Kid's Race
- 8 km Sport Run or Hike
- 16 km Enduro Run or Hike
- 24 km Grit Run
The course begins with a climb to a ridge, then descends via single track to a bluff overlooking the campground. The finish includes about 2 kilometres of hard-packed trail along the river with autumn colours. The sport course completes the loop once, the enduro twice, and the grit course three times. The 3 km kids race climbs the new River Valley Alliance Trail then descends to the finish.
Logistics noted in event information: there is no on-site parking; participants park at John Maland High School with continuous shuttle loops to the start/finish. Washroom facilities are available at the start/finish. For safety, dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles are not allowed on course. The event is cup-free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start/finish and at one or more aid stations. Sport, Enduro, and Grit finishers receive a finisher swag item; wooden medals can be purchased.
