The 2026 1781 Brewery 5k & 10k takes place on February 14, 2026 at Wilderness Run in Spotsylvania, VA. Points from the races count toward the 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Sippin’ Series. The event benefits Semper Fi & America’s Fund. A virtual race option is available.

Registration includes a chip-timed event, a finisher’s medal, and a technical event shirt. Participants may choose one glass of beer from 1781 Brewing or one glass of wine from Wilderness Run Vineyards. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before February 4.
Course and race logistics
The course is a cross country trail with hills. The 5k is an out-and-back; the 10k is two laps of the 5k. Water stations: seven on the 10k at approximately mile markers 0.75, 1.55, 2.35, 3.1, 3.85, 4.6 and 5.4; three on the 5k at approximately 0.75, 1.55 and 2.35. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Port-a-johns are located behind the winery.
Race-day registration and packet pickup are available at the event. Entry fees listed are: 5k $35 until January 31 (then $40), 10k $50 until January 31 (then $55); prices increase by $5 on race morning. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in multiple age categories. Live results will be posted during the event on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Back of the Pack time is listed as 11:30.
