2026 1781 Brewery 5k & 10k
This event offers cross country trail races held on the Wilderness Run property and centered at 1781 Brewing Company in Spotsylvania, Virginia, on February 14. The courses run across farm and battlefield terrain; the 5k is an out-and-back and the 10k consists of two laps of the 5k. The route includes hills throughout.

Walkers are welcome. The event includes on-course support with water stations: the 10k has seven stations at approximate mile markers 0.75, 1.55, 2.35, 3.1, 3.85, 4.6 and 5.4; the 5k has three stations at approximately 0.75, 1.55 and 2.35. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Port-a-johns will be located behind the winery and parking is on-site.
Participants receive a finisher medal, a technical DriFit event shirt (guaranteed for registrations before February 4), a chip-timed result, and one beverage choice from event providers. A virtual race option is available. The event benefits Semper Fi and America’s Fund. Results are posted live and final results with series points are published the Monday after the race.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second in standard age categories. Points from this event count toward the 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series and the Sippin' Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
