Location, course and awards

The venue is the Lacawac Sanctuary William E. Chatlos Environmental Education Center at 182 Sanctuary Road, Lake Ariel, PA 18436. The course winds through diverse landscapes and passes areas associated with local osprey habitat; the Lacawac osprey nest is located above Heron Pond across from the Education Center. Proceeds will support upkeep and maintenance of Lacawac's Browning Beaver Meadow Sanctuary, a former sanctuary of the NEPA Audubon Society.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. Awards will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 0-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
