The 25k course has about 4,700 feet of elevation gain with four ascents of Miller Mountain, each over 1,000 feet. The route begins on a short dirt road before the first climb, includes views over the Susquehanna River, passes private properties such as Bennie's Nursery and Tree Farm and the Barziloski farm, and uses multiple aid stations. The 5 Mile course has about 2,000 feet of elevation gain and features a steep climb with rocky, wet downhill sections.
Registration, packet pickup, awards, and charities
Registration prices vary by date. For the 25k run and hike the price ranges from $60 to $80 depending on registration window. For the 5 Mile the price ranges from $40 to $55. Registration closes on May 6. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 8 and on race morning.
All participants receive a customized finisher gift, event swag, and a post-race meal. Top male and female finishers in the 25k and 5 Mile receive custom awards. There are no age group awards. Net race profits will benefit Countryside Conservancy and Wyoming County United Way.
