Iron Horse 8k : Black Diamond Series, Round 2

The Iron Horse 8k is the second race in the Black Diamond Running Series, held on July 26, 2026 at Montage Mountain in Moosic, Pennsylvania. The course is a trail route with additional length and hilly terrain; the race distance is 8k (5 miles). The event takes place at the Montage Mountain venue located at 1000 Montage Mountain Road, Moosic, PA 18507.

Registration opens April 13, 2026 and closes July 23, 2026. Standard registration fee is $35, and day of registration is $45. Registered participants receive free admission to the Montage Mountain Waterpark after the race, listed as a $34.99 value, and may purchase up to four additional waterpark tickets for family members at $15 each. Packet pick-up and race-day registration are available on the day of the event.

Cash prizes are awarded in overall and masters categories. Prize payouts for both male and female divisions include $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd, $100 for 3rd, $75 for 4th, and $50 for 5th.
