Trail Running calendar near Newry 2026-2027

The Snaefell and the Tholtans will take place in Snaefell on Saturday 5 December 2026. You can run 13 kilometers.

A remembrance hill race from Pier Gates near Lough Tay on 27 December 2026, offering an 8.5 km main course, a 4.9 km short route and a junior option. Route is fully marked, GPS allowed and basic kit is mandatory.

A 50 km ultramarathon at Donadea Forest Park hosted by Donadea Running Club, listed to return on Saturday, February 13. Early-bird places were sold out and deferrals or refunds were allowed until December 31.

A 10K trail run on the Cooley Peninsula on Saturday 20th February, based at McCrystals Track in Jenkinstown. The route mixes runnable trail and natural terrain, climbs about 240 m and includes a finisher medal; onsite parking is available.

A trail running event in Bray, County Wicklow featuring a 10 km course on forest tracks instead of tarmac. Scheduled for 3 April 2027, it is open to participants aged 16 years and above and is part of the Gaelforce 10K trilogy.

A 20 mile coastal trail run from Portrush along the Causeway Coast Way featuring cliffs, beaches and the Giant's Causeway UNESCO site. The event counts toward the Endurancelife Season Leaderboard.

A point to point ultra of about 37.4 miles on the MizMal route from Villa Rose Hotel to Inishowen Gateway Hotel, held as day 13 of the 14-day MizMal series. Entry is capped, mandatory kit and a 4.0 mph minimum pace are enforced.

Norn Iron 100 is a long-distance ultra event listed on the UTMB Index with an iTRA 5 rating. It will hold its sixth edition on 29 and 30 May 2027 in Northern Ireland.
