The Pier Gates Remembrance Race is scheduled for Sunday 27 December 2026 at Pier Gates / Lough Tay car park in County Wicklow. The race is nominated to remember IMRA members who have passed away; elements of the event combine several local traditions and fancy dress is encouraged. The course is fully marked and GPS use is allowed.

The course climb is 120 m. The event is rated 3 for difficulty, described as easy terrain with ascent under 200 m. The route starts from Pier Gates because Djouce woods is currently unsuitable; the 2026 route will differ from 2024 and final details will be confirmed before the race. Registration is set from 9:15 to 9:45. There is no early start. Mandatory kit is Level A - a showerproof, windproof jacket must be carried; random kit checks may be carried out and failure to have required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification.
