The Pier Gates Remembrance Race (Djouce Remembrance Race) takes place in County Wicklow on Saturday 27 December 2025. The route follows the same course as the Earl's Drive trail league and has a total climb of 120 m. The event difficulty is listed as 3 and is described as easy terrain with under 200 m ascent. Race marking will show only major junctions and GPS is allowed.

Logistics and rules

Entry costs are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open 18 December 2025 and close 26 December 2025. No entry limit is set. Mandatory kit is Level A basic, which includes a showerproof, windproof jacket; runners must carry required items and may be subject to random checks. Failure to have the required items may result in denied entry or disqualification.

The race combines local traditions to remember IMRA members who have passed away and the event encourages fancy dress. Prizegiving will take place in the car park directly after the race.
