MTC Bodach

The MTC Bodach is a challenging 38-mile ultra marathon held in Ireland, forming Day 13 of the 14-day Mount to Coast MizMal® End to End Challenge. The race starts at the Villa Rose Hotel and Spa and finishes at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel, following much of the MizMal® route along Ireland’s scenic west coast. With an ascent of 2,136 feet and descent of 2,185 feet, the course demands strong endurance and navigation skills, supported by mandatory checkpoints and a minimum pace requirement. Limited to 40 runners, the event offers bespoke medals and optional race apparel, celebrating Irish myths and legends throughout the series.
