Trail Running calendar near Plumpton 2026-2027

A 30th anniversary road marathon organised by Halstead Road Runners, set on scenic low traffic roads in North Essex. The event supports local charities, forms part of the Essex championships and limits entries to 500.

A 30 km one-day trail run through the Chiltern Hills from Tring, featuring rolling hills, on-route guidance and trail technique instruction, checkpoint refreshments and a finisher’s medal.

A Trifecta obstacle-course weekend in Henley on Thames featuring Sprint, Super and Beast races plus a kids race along the riverside and town landmarks. Events list 20 to 30 obstacles and show a 4.7 participant rating.

Race for Life at Weald Country Park in Brentwood features 3k, 5k and 10k routes across grass and woodland trails. The 10k is two laps of the 5k course and the event is chip timed.

Trail runs and walks near Reading at Mapledurham House on 22 and 23 May 2027, with waymarked routes along the Thames, multiple distances, support stations, online tracking and on site camping.

A riverside trail event at Remenham Farm in Henley-on-Thames offering a Half Marathon, 10K and a Junior Race for under 11s, with chip timing, medals, free photos and an event village.

A 100 kilometre trail ultramarathon on 9 May 2026 around the Chiltern Hills, following an anticlockwise loop past Ashridge, The Ridgeway and Whiteleaf Hill. Fully marked route with GPS tracking and several staffed aid stations.
