Inflatable 5K - Southampton, Hampshire

The Inflatable 5K takes place in Southampton on Saturday 11th July 2026 at Sport and Wellbeing, University of Southampton, Wide Lane, Eastleigh SO50 5PE. The event uses a 2.5 km lap with giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels and offers multiple route options.

Each lap of the course repeats the same obstacles. Route options and obstacle counts are:

• 2.5 km, 1 lap, 15 obstacles
• 5 km, 2 laps, 30 obstacles
• 10 km, 4 laps, 60 obstacles
• 15 km, 6 laps, 90 obstacles

The 5 km course includes three new obstacles compared with previous editions and five music zones are positioned around the route. The event is untimed and provides a finisher's medal and a goodie bag for participants. Food and drink vendors are available on site.

Practical information includes on-site toilets, a water station located midway on the route, paid parking at £5 per car payable in cash, and a bag drop service at £3 per bag with a maximum average rucksack size. Bags are searched for safety and loose items are not accepted. Dogs are not permitted. Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying participating adult at a maximum ratio of three children per adult; adults are defined as 16 and over. Spectators may use designated viewing areas only.
