Trail Running calendar near Gloucester 2026-2027

A night time off-road 10 km race at The Wyre Forest with compulsory torches, canicross allowed, medals for all finishers and prizes for the top three men and women. Early reduced fee for the first 20 entries.

Mudfest at Rosliston Forest is a four hour event on a 4 km loop where runners may complete as many laps as possible; field capped at 30 and entry listed at £29.

A short fell race of 5.7 km with 485 m of climb on Blorenge near Llanfoist, Abergavenny. Mostly unmarked up-and-down route with steep technical terrain; basic navigation and full kit are recommended.

Two trail distances on 28 November 2026 around Machen, featuring wooded single track, ridgeway exposure and steep climbs. The half course is fully marked while the marathon requires self navigation with marshals at key points.

A 23 mile clockwise tour around Worcester and Droitwich starting at Gheluvelt Park, mostly on traffic-free paths. Solo and two-person relay options are available, with three on-route control points and a six-hour completion limit.

A 21.1 km trail race around Hughenden Manor and surrounding woodlands, mostly forest paths with undulating terrain and three aid stations. The course is fully marked and trail running shoes are recommended.

A 10 km trail race around the National Trust's Hughenden Manor near High Wycombe, featuring woodland trails, about 195 m of ascent, full course marking and a water station at 5.3 km. Onsite facilities include parking, toilets and a cafe.

A 14.5 km fell race with 793 m of ascent around Cardington near Church Stretton, partially marked and requiring navigational skills and full FRA kit. Entry is online only with 180 places and parking is limited.
