Trail Running calendar near Crosby 2026-2027

A point to point ultramarathon of about 59 miles following the River Severn from Shrewsbury to Worcester with four checkpoints, vegan and gluten free catering options, mandatory kit checks and a 4.0 mph minimum pace requirement.

Gyrn Gallop is a 10.6 km fell race from Rhiwlas Village near Llansilin with about 350 m of ascent on a partially marked course requiring some experience. Entry on the day is £7 and the minimum age is over 15.

Multi-distance trail event in Llanberis on 11–12 July 2026 featuring 10K, half, marathon and 57 km ultra routes that pass Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass and Yr Wyddfa, plus an event village and chip timing.

Wasdale Fell Race is a long, alpine fell event in the Lake District on 11 July 2026 covering about 34 km with 2750 m ascent. Full FRA kit and a provided tracker are mandatory and several checkpoints have published time limits.

Take on the New Embsay Fell Race on Sat 11 Jul: a punchy 2.5 mile course with 195 m of climb through the Yorks Dales. Part of the village fete, enjoy entertainment and refreshments and easy on the day entry for a fun community challenge.

Take on the Charlesworth & Chisworth Carnival Fell Race on Sat 11 Jul 2026 in the Peak District, a testing 5 km / 3.1 mile course with 180 m of climb. Pre entry and entry on the day plus junior races make this a great community running day.

Phoenix Blaze is the second race in a 2026 Summer Series at Hardy Farm on 11 July 2026, featuring timed laps on a 5.3 km riverside course so participants can complete distances from 5 km up to ultra within a seven hour limit.

A one-day trail race at Stonyhurst College on 11 July 2026, covering 11.1 km with 528 ft elevation through woodland, riverside trails and historic bridges. Entries run from 1 March to 3 July 2026; entry fee £30, minimum age 18.

A short 1.6 km hill race with 95 m of climb on Sugar Lane in Rainow on 11 July 2026, held as part of the Rainow Village Fete. Open to runners aged 8 and over with entry on the day.

A muddy 5k obstacle event at Temple Newsam on Saturday 11 Jul 2026 that raises funds for cancer research. Participants aged 13 and over tackle climbs, crawls and slides on a single lap course in staggered 15 minute waves.

A self-navigation circular route of about 17 miles and 2,000 ft ascent around Parwich in the Derbyshire Dales. The event includes three aid stations, a collect and deliver quest, and a six hour cut off for runners and fast walkers.

Peak Forest Fell Race is a 9.7 km fell race with 247 m of ascent in the Peak District on 12 July 2026. Day registration is available at Peak Forest Reading Room and free parking is provided on the village recreation ground.
