Trail Running calendar near Corfton 2026-2027

A scenic circular *30 km* fell race on footpaths, bridleways and public roads that passes ancient Roman roads, farmland and woodland. The route is open to walkers and runners and all finishers receive a medal and memento.

Two trail races through the mountains of Afan Forest Park, about 6.5 miles or 10.5 miles with significant climbs. Online entry, chip timing, marshalled route, finishers receive a t shirt and medal.

A 10 mile trail race through Radnor forest in Mid Wales on 23 August 2026, held in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit in Hereford. The route reaches Black Mixen at 2130 ft and includes forestry roads, moorland and tree covered single track.

A guided trail run meeting at the Ponderosa cafe that follows an around 7 km route on Llantysilio Mountain via Moel y Faen and Moel y Gamelin. The run moves at a steady pace with regular regrouping stops.

An evening trail race at National Trust Lyme on 25 August 2026 featuring a single 10K lap with 272 m of ascent, free park admission and on site food vendors.

Point-to-point ultras along the Cambrian Way into Cardiff, offered as 44- and 33-mile options with self-navigation, live tracking, indoor aid stations, and on-route support.

A non stop 130 mile canal towpath race from Liverpool to Leeds run under UK Athletics rules. Open to runners aged 20 and over, the event has a 40 hour limit and a limited number of unsupported entries with regular feed points.

Multi-distance running festival at Nottingham Racecourse in Colwick Country Park featuring half marathon, 10K, 5K and junior races with chip timing and race photos.

A chip timed, multi terrain flat 10 km race around Pershore that starts at Pershore Leisure Centre and finishes in Abbey Park. Entry is online only, limited to 325 places and includes a medal, water and a plum for finishers.

A community 5k at Hugglescote Grange on 30 August 2026 with a two lap route that may change as footpaths open. Walking, children and dog friendly with a medal for participants and limited on site parking.

A hill race near Porthmadog covering 7.2 km with 564 m of ascent, partially marked and requiring navigational skills and experience. Entry is day only for £5 and teams may enter free.

A 9 mile fell race with about 2,800 ft of ascent visiting Tal y Fan and Moel Lus, featuring five ordered checkpoints and a cut off at CP2. Entry is limited to 100 and online registration opens 1/6/26.

Run Winchcombe at Sudeley Castle on 30 August 2026 offers 1k, 5k and 10k routes through castle grounds and up to Belas Knap with medals and finishers' sausages.

A 7 km fell race with 365 m of ascent in Machen on 31 August 2026. The route runs on steep, loose terrain so trail or fell shoes are recommended and entry is on the day with a £7 fee and age limit over 18.

A 7.4 km mountain race in the Clwydian Range with 380 m ascent, junior events, regional championship status and on-site facilities.

Scenic 10 km fell race in Eyam with a 3 km junior race, marshalled route, prizes from The Barrel Inn and a post race barbecue and real ale.

A four race midweek multi terrain series in September around Wirral parks, with senior races from 6.5 km to 8 km and junior races of about 2 miles.

A 7.7 km fell race around Longstone Edge in the Peak District on 4 September 2026, mostly off road with 290 m of ascent. Entry for the main race is limited to 200 runners and junior races are run separately.

A multi-terrain off-road race of about 4 miles in Shotton on 4 September 2026, with pre-entry fees (£10, £8 affiliated), prize categories by age, a minimum age of 17, and a 200-person entry limit.

A new *15 mile* trail event in September 2026 on the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Walk, with 2,267 ft of ascent, mostly off-road terrain, one fully stocked checkpoint and organised entry support from Rudry to Parc Penalta.
