Timber Trails 2027
Timber Trails 2027 is a 6.5 mile trail event on Sunday 14 March 2027 based at Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove B61 7JP. The route is a multi terrain loop that begins in the large field at Sanders Park, follows Whitford Road briefly, then continues onto public footpaths and countryside near Timberhonger Lane before returning to Sanders Park.
The course is mostly trails with stiles, kissing gates, fields and woodland, plus a couple of short sections on quiet country lanes around Timberhonger Lane. There are some steep banks and muddy sections, so trail shoes are usually recommended depending on weather. Arrows and marshals direct participants around the course; there are no road closures on the small road sections.
Practical information from the organiser includes free parking at Sanders Park and additional parking in a nearby field off Whitford Road/Echells Close, onsite registration with numbers issued at registration, and toilets at the park by the cafe about 600 metres from the start and finish area. There are water stations at approximately 5K and at the finish; the organiser recommends bringing personal hydration to reduce waste. The cafe in the park is closed at present but water and sweets will be available at the finish.
Entrants must be 15 or over and accompanied by an adult on the course. One dog per runner is allowed on a lead and must be kept away from livestock; some stiles may be difficult for dogs. No refunds, defers or transfers are available. All finishers receive a medal and an official time. Results are published within 48 hours. The event is organised by Orbit Events and total places are limited to 200. Early places are priced at £25 for the first 100 entries, then £27.
