A backyard ultra at Stake Lake where runners complete hourly loops of about 6 to 6.5 km until only one solo runner or one team remains. The event raises funds for the Kamloops Food Bank and awards a cash prize and commemorative belt buckles..

A mountain trail event at Sun Peaks Resort offering 50 km, 28 km and 15 km options, in-person and virtual entries, aid stations, and a CA$5 registration donation to Sun Peaks Mountain Rescue Society.

August 2026

Trail event at Stake Lake near Kamloops with 25 km, 50 km, 100 km and relay options plus a 25 km night race. Varied singletrack and technical sections, many aid stations, drop-bag access and finisher awards.

September 2026

A grassroots trail race in Kenna Cartwright Park, Kamloops on September 6, 2026 offering 50 km, 25 km, 14 km and a new 8 km. The course follows rolling single and double-track trails with about 860 m elevation per lap.

Trail running in Kenna Cartwright Park offers 5 km, 10 km and 21 km options across mixed roots, rock and dirt trails with double track and single track sections. Expect park views, sagebrush and possible wildlife sightings.

October 2026

A charity fun run at Riverside Park on October 3, 2026 where runners choose 2.5 km, 5 km or 10 km and eat donuts at stations; proceeds and donated food support the Kamloops Food Bank.

Experience the Hoodoo 8K in Kamloops a scenic 8 km trail loop featuring 175 meters of elevation gain as part of the Interior Running Association series.

Experience the Reino Run in Salmon Arm, an 8.5 km trail loop with 150 meters of elevation gain. This inclusive event features age group prizes and is part of the regional trail race series.

A new night trail run on the Kenna Cartwright trails in Kamloops featuring themed jump scares, costumed characters and candy stations. Two distances are offered and registration opens May 25, 2026.

April 2027

Backyard-format race in Sicamous where runners run repeated 6706 m loops each hour until one remains; the event supports the Canadian Championship Series and Big Dog's Backyard World Championship.
