Dirty Feet Heartbreak 100k, Relay, 50 km, 25 km & 25 km Night Race

Trail event held at the Stake Lake Nordic Centre south of Kamloops, BC. The event offers solo and team options with frequent returns to a central staging area and race headquarters that provide access to drop bags and parking.

Distances available:

  • 100 km solo or relay, 8 legs, approximately 2000 m elevation.
  • 50 km solo or relay, 4 legs, approximately 1000 m elevation.
  • 25 km daytime and 25 km night on designated legs.

The course mixes singletrack and doubletrack, hills, rocky and rooty sections, and some technical features. The route passes ponds and offers varied views. A large parking area near the course serves as the main staging area for teams and support.

Aid and support: multiple aid stations along each course and a main aid station at HQ where runners can access drop bags. Participants are expected to carry personal food and electrolyte supplies; officials will check mandatory equipment.

Mandatory gear and rules: headlamps required after 6:00 pm; two headlamps required for the 25 km night race. Minimum 500 ml of electrolytes with capacity to carry 1 L. Pacers are not allowed on course; crew access is limited to the start/finish/headquarters area.
