Event Information

The Dirty Feet Heartbreak event offers multiple distances on a trail course at the Stake Lake Nordic Centre, south of Kamloops, British Columbia. The available distances are: 100 km, 50 km, 25 km, and a 25 km night race. The 100 km and 50 km events are open to solo runners or relay teams (up to 8 people for the 100 km, 4 legs for the 50 km).

Course and Elevation

The course uses trails at the Stake Lake Nordic Centre. It is described as a mix of single track, double track, hills, rocks, and roots. The approximate elevation gain is 2000m for the 100 km and 1000m for the 50 km. The start and finish are in the main parking lot, within walking distance of participants' cars.

Services and Rules

Multiple aid stations are provided along the course, with a main headquarters at the start/finish area where runners can access their drop bags. Crew access is only allowed at this main headquarters; pacers are not permitted on the course. A headlamp is mandatory after 6:00 PM, and two are required for the 25 km night race. Runners must wear their bib visibly and check in at all aid stations.

Registration includes Dirty Feet series swag, Shuswap Coffee beans, a custom bib (if registered by July 20), and a finisher's medal for the 25 km, 50 km, and relay distances.
