The event is held at Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area (Ensenada Pavilion) in Fremont, CA. Courses start in the park and follow the Alameda Creek Trail toward the mouth of Niles Canyon. All courses are flat and marked with directional signage.

Surface and certification notes: the 5K and 10K are entirely on crushed rock. The half marathon is a mix of crushed rock (64%) and asphalt (36%). The half marathon course is USATF certified (CA19047RS). The course is relatively flat and easy to follow.
Support and services: fully stocked aid stations appear every 2 to 5 miles with fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink. Runners are advised to carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations. The event is cupless; participants are asked to bring their own fluid container. A Hydrapak SpeedCup is available for sale for $5 at check-in and disposable cups can be requested from aid station volunteers.
Logistics and rules: park entrance pass is included and will be provided by email. Check-in begins at the Ensenada Pavilion; participants should allow time to pick up bibs and shirts. All events have a 4-hour time limit. Headphones are allowed only on dirt road sections. Dogs are not allowed on course. All finishers receive a custom medal; pre-registered runners receive shirts.
