Zombie Dash - Salt Lake City

Zombie Dash is a Halloween-themed obstacle run held on October 16, 2026, at Jordan River OHV Rec Center in Salt Lake City, UT (2824 Rose Park Ln, 84116). The course is 2.75 miles long and follows a motocross dirt trail that can become muddy after rain.

Participants begin the event carrying three flags that represent "life." Simulated zombies attempt to take those flags; if all flags are taken the participant is classified as infected, and if at least one flag remains the participant is considered a survivor. The zombies' stated goal is only to remove flags, and participants are asked not to touch the zombies.

The course includes 6 to 8 obstacles intended to alter the running experience. Examples of obstacles listed are climbing over and under walls, crawling on the dirt, and mazes. Everyone who finishes receives a medal; the event notes medals for both survivors and infected.

The event is limited to 1,000 participants. Parking is free. The event runs rain or shine; refunds are not provided but entries may be transferred to another participant. Walking the course is permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
