Turkey Trot

Turkey Trot is a six hour running event at the Suffolk Running Centre, IP29 5AX, taking place on 28 November 2026. The event is organised by Zig Zag Running and uses the BACK QUACK route.

The course is a 10.5 km loop that mixes road and trail. The Race HQ and lap point are at the start location, where a water and aid station will be provided. The event operates as a mass start and uses a lap format that allows participants to stop between laps and resume as they wish.

Distances that can be achieved during the six hours include:

  • Official 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon and ultra-marathon distances
  • Repeated laps of the 10.5 km loop to reach other target distances

Practical information included in the entry: parking at the venue, a baggage space in the hut near the start left at the owner’s risk, and a cupless policy so participants should bring their own bottle or cup for refilling. Road trainers are suggested but trail shoes may be useful depending on recent weather. A bespoke event medal is available at the finish unless an alternative finisher medal option is selected. Virtual entries are offered for those who cannot attend in person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
